There will be a wreath presentation, with flowers provided by Winona’s Flowers and Gifts, and a special unveiling of a new plaque, which lists the names of 23 additional men who have been identified as being with Col. Abraham Buford at the Battle of the Waxhaws, or Buford’s Massacre.
A plaque that bears the names of 216 men who were at the infamous battle was unveiled in 2017.
