The United Way of Lancaster County invites residents to contribute to a stronger community through volunteering. Spring in Lancaster County brings four hands-on community projects where passionate people can meet a need and make a difference in the areas of health, education and financial stability.

“These events are fun ways for families, students or small groups to contribute in very concrete ways to initiatives that directly help others. Simple tasks, like sorting food donations, handing out water to runners or supporting a book giveaway, are easy for people of all ages and prompt meaningful conversations about being a good neighbor and a community helper,” says Ashley Collins, resource development coordinator for the United Way.
