LANCASTER, S.C. — Mrs. Jessie Lee Springs McDonald Carter, 88, died March 6, 2024.
Jessie was born May 12, 1935, in Kings Street, S.C., the daughter of the late Fred Aaron Springs and Frances Leila Ganes Springs.
Visitation is noon Tuesday, March 12, followed by the funeral at 1 p.m. at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home, with burial in Lancaster Memorial Park.
Jessie is survived by daughters, Debra Annette Jenkins, Shenell Knight, Rita Faye Duncan and Tammie Lynette Mathews; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; and brother, J.R. Springs.
Jessie was preceded in death her parents; husband, William McDonald; two brothers and four sisters.
