S.C. abortion ban should be applauded
On Aug. 23, the S.C. Supreme Court ruled in favor of life! This victory should be celebrated and applauded — our state protects those most vulnerable!
After a fetal heartbeat is detected at about six weeks, this law bans abortion. Many in opposition claim that the destruction of a human life is “health care.”
They say this person should not be afforded the same protections as you and me because he or she is smaller, more vulnerable and not visible to the naked eye.
The womb of a mother should be the safest place on earth to reside, however, in our country, due to liberal abortion laws, the womb is actually the most dangerous.
Women absolutely have the right to quality health care, but seeking to end a human life, due to the inconvenience a baby may cause, is not the definition of caring for anyone’s health — especially not the health of an innocent, precious life made in God’s image.
