    The Red Devils took the crown with a 41-40 win over the Parkwood High Rebels.

    KERSHAW – The fifth-ranked Andrew Jackson High School girls were impressive in opening play in the annual Comporium Christmas Classic at AJ on Friday, Dec. 27.

    The Lady Vols built an early lead and rolled to a 93-25 win over the North Central Lady Knights.

    The Warriors, 6-1 and ranked No. 8 in the latest Class AA boys state poll, rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to post a 75-72 overtime win over the Piedmont Panthers of Union County, N.C.

    The Buford Yellow Jackets capped the 2013 portion of their basketball season with a 1-2 showing in the Seahawk Invitational at Hilton Head High School on Monday, Dec. 23.

    The Jackets, in the matinee game with Pendleton County, Ky., dropped a 60-49 loss to the Wildcats.
