C.D. Pelham, who was promoted to the Texas Rangers in late summer, returned home for the celebration of Lancaster Dixie Baseball twin state titles on Dec. 2 at the Catawba Fish Camp. FORT LAWN – Lancaster Dixie Baseball’s splendid summer – twin state titles – took center stage on a recent late fall night at the Catawba Fish Camp in Fort Lawn.
An enthusiastic crowd of 200-plus, which included youngsters to seniors and those in between, celebrated Lancaster Dixie Baseball’s two state crowns – 6-year-old T-ball champs and the Dixie Boys 14U all-stars on Sunday, Dec. 2.
Attendees included Lancaster County government and school officials along with county high school baseball coaches.
