  • Two races slated this weekend

    Area racing fans can check out two regional races in the Carolinas this weekend.
    Antioch Motor Speedway, located 2850 Race Track Street in Morganton, N.C., 28655, is hosting its final race under the promotion of Jason Smoot.
    Smoot, owner of the Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Model Series, is hanging up promoting the half-mile dirt track in Morganton to put all his focus on his highly successful Blue Ridge Outlaw Model Series for the 2018 racing season.

  • Palmetto State 50 is Fergy time

    The Palmetto State 50 drew some of the Southeast’s biggest names in dirt late model racing, but the biggest name expected at the half-mile dirt oval didn’t make it to the track as Scott Bloomquist’s hauler broke down 20 miles from the race track.
    On the pole for the Palmetto State 50 for the Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series $10,000-to-win race was Zack Mitchell.
    Mitchell was one of the favorites for the $10,000 payday. When the green flag dropped to start the race, Mitchell grabbed the lead over Jeff Smith, Ben Watkins and Chris Madden.

  • Super Late Model action heads LMS race

    Lancaster Motor Speedway puts the final touches on its 2018 season with a major racing event Saturday.
    The half-mile dirt oval will host the Palmetto State 50.
    The Saturday racing card headlines the Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series.
    Top prize for the main event is $10,000.
    Fans can expect a major battle for the high stakes race, with Scott Bloomquist leading an ace field.

  • Palmetto State 50 set Saturday

    Lancaster Motor Speedway will be hosting the Palmetto State 50 Saturday night.
    The headline race on the night will be the Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series $10,000-to-win main event.
    Saturday has a Black Sunshine forecast as the driver some consider the G.O.A.T. will be here, Scott Bloomquist.
    Bloomquist will invade The big half-mile dirt oval.

  • Watkins focused on Nov. 17 race

    The Rock Hill Bad Boy Ben Watkins has already established himself as one of the best to ever race at Lancaster Motor Speedway in any race car.
    Watkins has won numerous times from a stock body car to a Late Model, but there is another track that has been pretty good to the driver known as “The Rock Hill Bad Boy.”
    The track is near the North Carolina coast, the Fayetteville Motor Speedway.
    Watkins should absolutely love the track.

  • Palmetto State 50 set for Nov. 17

    Lancaster Motor Speedway co-promoters Eric Caskey and Shannon Munn have released full details on one of the biggest races in the history of Lancaster Motor Speedway.
    On Nov. 17, Lancaster Motor Speedway will be hosting the Palmetto State 50, the headlining race for the night will be the Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series paying $10,000 to win.
    Fans can expect to see some of the best Carolinas Late Model drivers, as well as those from across the Southeast, to come to the big half-mile track dirt track.

  • LMS releases full details about Renegade race

    The Renegade Division at Lancaster Motor Speedway will receive one of the largest paydays it has ever had in the history of Lancaster Motor Speedway on Nov. 17.
    For years and years the Renegade Division has been the  favorite division for LMS drivers and fans.
    The division has always been the most talked about division on social media and with the most popular drivers racing in it as well.
    This season, the Renegade Division car count average was between 16-20 cars on most nights.

  • Southern All-Stars Race drawing closer

    Anticipation is building in the Carolinas racing community for the big race date at Lancaster Motor Speedway.
    LMS, on Nov. 17, will host an event which just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
    The Southern All-Stars Super Late Model Series is making its first trip to Lancaster Motor Speedway for the 2018 racing season, paying $10,000 to win.
    For $10,000 to win, fans can expect to see the top Super Late Model and any Late Model driver in the Carolinas at Lancaster Motor Speedway on that Saturday night in mid-November in hopes of ending the season on a high note.

  • Hanging Rock Kartway hosts Race 4 Rowan on Saturday

    A benefit race – Race 4 Rowan – is Saturday at Hanging Rock Kartway, 1082 Horton Rollins Road in Kershaw.
    Rowan was diagnosed with AML M7 on Oct. 5.
    Rowan, age 3, is battling AML M7, an aggressive and rare form of child leukemia.
    The Hanging Rock Kartway race Saturday is to help Rowan’s family raise money to help with her medical expenses.
    Chris Hunter, a HRK race director, said “a record number of go kart racers and spectators are already committed to come to Hanging Rock Kartway.”

  • Race 4 Raven at Hanging Rock Kartway

    Hanging Rock Kartway is hosting a race called Race 4 Rowan. Rowan was diagnosed with AML M7 on Friday, Oct. 5. Rowan is a 3-year old girl, AML M7 is an aggressive and rare form of Leukemia for children. The race at Hanging Rock Kartway Saturday is set to help Rowan’s family raise money to help pay for her medical bills and anything else she will need.
