    WESTVILLE Floyd Wayne Bowers, 51, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007.

    Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Grover Coleman and Blanche Louise Baker Bowers. He worked as a mechanic for Springs Industries. He was a member of Refuge Baptist Church. He was married to Sherry Bowers.

    Delilah “Lila” Brazell Baskins died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007.She was the daughter of the late David Wylie and Eunice Brown Brazell. She was married to the late James Lewis Baskins. She was a graduate of the Camden Hospital School of Nursing and a registered nurse. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was a former member of the choir and the United Methodist Women.Survivors include a niece, Juanita Brazell; and two nephews, Woodrow Brazell Jr.

    Frankie Lucille Hargett Lucy Helms

    Frankie Lucille Hargett "Lucy" Helms, 80, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007.

    Born Dec. 26, 1926, in Chesterfield, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin Hargett and Cornelia Allen Hargett.She was married to William Edison Edd Helms. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church and was retied from Springs Industries.

  • Barbara Jean S. Miller, 60

    Born Aug. 13, 1947, in Warrenton, N.C., she was a daughter of Rose Lee Wilson Southerland and the late Willie Allen Southerland. She was a 1965 graduate of Warrenton High School.

    Survivors include her mother of Henderson, N.C.; a son, Johnny Miller Jr. of York; a daughter, Sheila Miller of Kershaw; and three grandchildren, Tremaine Jackson, Jaia Miller and Samori Collins.

    Services will be today at 3 p.m. at Crawford Funeral Home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Buddy R. Moore, with burial in Highland Height Cemetery in Kershaw.
