She was married to the late William Lee Cauthen. She was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

    Born Sept 29,1926, in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Maxie Leroy and Kate Hasty Clements. He was married to the late Janie Gregory Clements. He was a former employee of J.P. Stevens Co. in Great Falls. He was an entrepreneur and was retired from the Chester County Library. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple.He was a Baptist.

    Born June 14, 1926, in Heath Springs, he was the son of the late Alford and Estelle Anthony. He was married to Margie P. Anthony. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where he was a member of the deacon board, senior choir, male chorus and usher board. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War.

    Born Feb. 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Orville Fredrick and Mabel Ila Petty Prigga. She was married to the late William George Yonkey.

    Survivors include two sons, William Bill G. Yonkey II of Lancaster and Carl Ray Yonkey of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Margaret Mitzi Marie Smith of Texarkana, Texas and Barbara June Allen of Waxhaw, N.C.; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Elmer Prigga of Clearwater, Fla.; and a sister, Gladys Milligan of Martinez, Calif.

    Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late W.G. Bill and Ethel King Anthony. She was married to the late J.D. Joe Hunter. She moved to Kershaw County as a child and lived most of her life in the town of Kershaw. She was a 1946 graduate of Baron DeKalb High School in Westville. She retired from Dupont and worked for more than 20 years for Springs Mills in Kershaw. She was a long time member of Second Baptist Church.

    Thomas Horton, 75, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008.

    Born Aug. 1, 1932, in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Martha Walker and Bill Horton. He attended public schools of Lancaster County.

    Survivors include his cousins, Jean Vanessa, Jackie, Mary and Maurice; and a special friend, Eddie Frieson.

    Services were Sunday at Kirkland Memorial Chapel of Kirkland-McCray Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Frank Simpson.

    Born January 22, 1921, in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Lonnie Clayton Rodgers and Irene Todd Rodgers. She was married to the late O.L. Thompson Jr. She was a member of Hanahan Senior Citizens and its treasurer for 30 years. She was a member of the Hanahan Eastern Star.

She was a graduate of Lancaster High School and Spartanburg General School of Nursing.She served as critical care registered nurse at Springs Memorial Hospital, Baptist Hospital, Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca and Allen Bennett Hospital in Greer. She was a member of Great Falls Presbyterian Church.
