    Kershaw Spring-a-thon May 11
    The Kershaw Spring-a-thon is May 11 in downtown Kershaw. Saturday will kick off with a parade at 10 a.m. and will feature vendors, entertainment and activities from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., the Gold Mine Cruisers Cruise-in from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Whits End performing at 11:30 a.m. and Triple Play Band performing at 2 p.m.

    Republican party and SCGOP press conference

    The Lancaster County Republican Party and the SCGOP will hold a joint press conference at 11 a.m. May 23 at the Historic Courthouse, 104 N. Main St., Lancaster. The event is open to the public. 

    The LCGOP will host an executive committee meeting, also open to the public, at 7 p.m. at Mike William’s Builders, 1351 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster. Refreshments will be served.
