AJ back home Tuesday to face Central

PAGELAND – Andrew Jackson dropped a pair of Conference IV-AA games at Central of Pageland on Friday night.

The Eagles capped the sweep with a 55-42 comeback win over the Vols.

In the opener, the Lady Eagles prevailed 53-38.

The nightcap saw the Vols lead for three periods, but the eighth-rated Eagles came alive to rally for the 13-point league win.

AJ held a 35-24 lead going into the final period, but the Vols managed only seven points in the pivotal fourth quarter.
