I am writing regarding the Oct. 20th article, “Former trooper helps others cope with stress disorder.”
John Rutledge Jr. was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) when someone shot into his brick house when he was not at home.
I am a Vietnam veteran, who was wounded twice and also diagnosed with PTSD. I know many fellow veterans, who are suffering with PTSD. We all agree that we don’t go out on weekends and shoot each other with paint-ball guns.
Instead of drawing disability, Rutledge needs to do something he is not afraid of.
