The Lancaster Post 31 American Legion senior team opened its 70th baseball season, posting an 8-4 win over Fort Mill Post 43 at the Fort Mill field on Tuesday, May 21.

Jordan Brock, who worked seven frames, was the winner, allowing five hits and striking out 10 Post 43 batters. Brock hit two batters and walked three.

Tripp Rollings worked the final two innings and whiffed three. He allowed no walks and no hits.

Rollings backed the Post 31 senior cause with two hits, including a three-run home run.
