Lancaster Super Speedway will host six divisions of racing action Saturday, May 11.
Josh Langley and Marty Spittle will have to start in the rear of the field after winning three straight races in their respected divisions.
Langley will have to start in the rear of the field in a stout Pure Street Division, and Spittle will have to start in the rear of the field in a very competitive Vintage Division.
Langley will have some bonus money on him to win from the rear of the field from Stephen Norwood of Stephen Norwood Race cars. He has put up $100 for Langley to win.
Deal 1 Auto Sale has put up a $100 to any Deal 1 sponsored driver that wins Saturday night. The group includes Mel Privette, Jeffrey McGuirt, Ryan Whitaker, Kevin Blackwell and Brady Kirk.
The full racing program for this Saturday includes the Heintz Performance Limited Late Models, Montgomery Towing Super Street, Deal 1 Auto Sale Crate Sportsman, Cauthen Motors Pure Street, Lancaster Speedway Vintage and M&M, Garage Muffler & Tire Extreme 4 (FWD)
Due to the wreck last week in the Extreme 4 main event, with the driver hitting the water barrels on the back straightaway, the Extreme 4 (FWD) will run double main events Saturday.
The first main event starting order is already locked in.
The division with the highest car count – determined from registration – will receive an extra $100 on first place.
In order to prevent someone from registering a car that is not racing, the cars must be present for hot laps or heat races.
Track gates open at 4 p.m. for the pits and 5 for the grandstands.
Admission is $20 for the pits and $12 for the grandstands.
If you missed any of the racing action from this past weekend, Jackie Sims will have DVDs for sale in the pits and grandstands for $10. The track’s 24-hour hotline is (803) 285-1877.
