LSS drivers compete at Cherokee

 Saturday, Sept. 27  marked  the final race for the 2014 racing season at Lancaster Super Speedway, but that did not stop the LSS racers from competing at other area track on Saturday, Oct. 4.

SECA Crate Late Model drivers Timbo Mangum and Steve Banal ran at Cherokee Speedway, with Mangum bringing home a third-place finish. Banal placed fourth.

Extreme 4 driver David Laney also ran at Cherokee Speedway and notched a fourth-place finish.

On Oct. 16-18, the biggest race in the Carolinas for dirt track racing will be at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, N.C.

This is the King Of The Carolinas Race.

Plenty of Lancaster Super Speedway drivers will battle at Carolina Speedway that weekend, seeking to bring the prize money back home.
