Letter: Council on Aging thanks donors to Shoebox for Seniors

-A A +A

Thanks to all the churches and individuals who participated in the Shoebox for Seniors project in December. This project, sponsored by the Lancaster County Council on Aging, was another success story!
We received enough gifts again this year to send out to our home-delivered-meal clients, and we also were able to give gifts to our group-dining clients during our annual Christmas party held at each of our sites.
Those who donated to the shoebox project included Beaver Creek Presbyterian Church, Bethel United Methodist Church, Eastside Baptist Church, Faith Presbyterian Church, Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church, Hopewell United Methodist Church, Roger & Lois Summery, New Hope AME Zion Church, Springhill Baptist Church, Tabernacle United Methodist Church, Trinity United Methodist Church and Zion United Methodist Church.
Thank you to everyone who donated gifts for our annual project. The Council on Aging staff hopes that you had a very merry Christmas and that each of you will be truly blessed in 2018.
