The Buford High School Lady Jackets improved to 3-1 overall, 2-0 in Region IV-AA girls soccer with a 3-0 road win over defending region girls soccer champion Andrew Jackson High School on Thursday night.
The Lady Jackets took a 1-0 halftime lead as center midfielder Isabella Jones, on the first of two goals, tallied.
In the second half, Buford High first-year soccer player Sophie Ribelin, off a Chaney Smith assist, scored her first career goal for the Lady Jackets.
Jones, on a six-yard shot, put BHS up 3-0 with her second goal of the night.
