Kershaw couple killed in motorcycle accident

A Saturday evening motorcycle accident claimed the lives of a Kershaw couple.
The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as David McIsaac, 61 and Dana McIsaac, 45.
S.C. Highway Patrol Trooper Joe Hovis said the accident happened about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Memorial Park Road as the McIsaacs were riding westbound on at 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Hovis said the motorcycle traveled off the right side of the road near the intersection of Grace Avenue and Memorial Park Road and struck a curb. The impact threw the McIsaacs from the motorcycle, fatally injuring both. Neither of them was wearing a helmet.
Coroner’s office spokeswoman Jennifer Collins said Dana McIsaac was pronounced dead at Springs Memorial Hospital about 10:16 p.m. Saturday.
David McIsaac was flown to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte where he died about 10:55 p.m.
