After a harrowing Indian Land footchase and a fruitless early morning manhunt, two N.C. suspects were arrested Sunday at the Taco Bell on U.S. 521 and charged in a string of vehicle break-ins.
Winston-Salem residents Tiyon Jamar Lucas, 20, and Malek Ja’Quay Lyons-Roberts, 18, were both charged with five counts of autobreaking. Lucas is also charged with possession of a stolen pistol, driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage.
