Cassatt man injured in ‘mob attack’

A Cassatt man is recovering from multiple injuries to his head and chest after he was attacked by at least two men late last month.

The 20-year-old victim met with a deputy Jan. 29 at Kershaw Town Hall to report the assault, which occurred between 10 p.m. Jan. 28 and 1 a.m. Jan. 29, according to a Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

The victim said he had been with two men, a 17-year-old and a 21-year-old, at a house near the intersection of Marion and Minor streets in Kershaw, where he got into an argument with one of the men.
