The Buford High Lady Jackets volleyball stayed unbeaten on the season, sweeping rival Andrew Jackson, 3-0 at the Volunteers gym on Thursday.

BHS, 10-0, 6-0, topped the Lady Vols in tight matches – 25-21, 28-26 and 25-23.

“We battled against a scrappy AJ team, and playing as a team was big for us,” Buford coach Taylor Roberts said. “I’m proud of our girls.”

“They played as a unit and it was a team effort all the way,” Roberts said.

AJ coach John Verdugo saluted the Lady Jackets.
