    Sowell, who has scored 119 points in the Lady Volunteers' four-game postseason charge – a 29.7 average over the sterling stretch, triggered the Lady Vols in clinching the Class AA Upper State championship and a coveted bid in the Class AA sate championship.

    The hard-charging Bulldogs, 25-4, captured their third consecutive Class AA Upper State championship with a 78-66 win over Indian Land High School on Saturday, March 1 at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville.

    KERSHAW – Diamond hopes are high for the Andrew Jackson Volunteers as head baseball coach Mike Lucas enters his fifth season at the Lancaster County Class AA high school.

    The Vols, 17-13 last season, return a solid cast of players from the team which captured the Class AA Upper District III championship and placed third in the Class AA Upstate championship tournament.
