    Ethan Harrington highlighted Lancaster Super Speedway action Saturday, May 9 when he captured his first career win in an exciting Rear Wheel Drive 4-Cylinder main event.

    In the Rear Wheel Drive 4-Cylinder main, only four cars started, but it took only two to make a good race.

     Indian Land posted its second straight shutout in the Class AA Upper State boys soccer playoffs with a 3-0 win over Cheraw on Thursday, May 7 at the IL Reservation.

    Justin Penn, Mason Heubsch and Henry Suvillaga each scored a goal to pace IL to the win.

    KERSHAW – Andrew Jackson posted its third straight postseason shutout to win the Class AA Upper State District IV softball championship on Wednesday, May 6 at the Lady Volunteers’ field.

    AJ, 23-6, blanked Woodruff, 4-0 behind senior pitcher Hannah Cobb, 18-4. She struck out nine Lady Wolverines and allowed three hits and a walk.

    KERSHAW – Andrew Jackson, its back to the wall in the Class AA Upper State District I baseball playoffs, battled back for a 3-1 win over Abbeville High School to win the district title and a bid to the Class AA Upstate title series Wednesday, May 8.
