    The Indian Land Warriors clinched the Region IV-AA boys basketball championship with a solid 95-78 win over the rival Andrew Jackson Volunteers on Tuesday, Feb. 5 in the AJ gym.

    The AJ girls, in their quest for the region crown, kept pace with a lopsided 78-38 victory over the IL Lady Warriors in the opener.

  • Lady Lancers drop pair

    The USC Lancaster Lady Lancers softball team dropped two losses to the Columbia College junior varsity in games on Friday, Feb. 1.

    In the opener, Columbia College rolled to a 15-6 win over USCL as Kayla Lloyd took the loss. Lloyd, in four frames, allowed 10 hits, 15 runs – seven earned, a walk and fanned two.

    The University of South Carolina at Lancaster notched its first baseball win of the 2013 season, taking a 13-2 win over the Limestone junior varsity on Wednesday, Feb. 6 in Gaffney.

    Indian Land’s two-night trip to Chesterfield County proved hoops fruitful on Friday, Feb. 1 and Saturday, Feb. 2.
