    The unbeaten Buford High girls pushed their basketball record to 2-0 with a 59-23 win over North Central to give the Jackets a split of their 2011-12 home opener Friday night.

    North Central avoided the sweep with a 46-45 win in the nightcap.

    The Buford girls, who rolled to a 53-38 road win over Lewisville in their opener on Wednesday, came out strong against the Lady Knights to notch the 36-point win.
