Jacob Jamison raced home on a throwing error to lift Buford to a hard-fought 3-2 win over county rival Andrew Jackson at Buford Park on Monday night.
Jamison walked to open the BHS eighth. A Ricky Lewis sacrifice bunt moved Jamison to second, and on a attempted steal of third, he dashed home when the catcher’s throw sailed into left field.
Lewis, who worked four frames, was the winner, allowing a run, three hits and four walks. He fanned four. Colt Ellis hurled four innings, allowing a run, three hits and two walks. He whiffed five.
