    The USCL Lady Lancers blanked USC-Salkehatchie, 2-0 to improve their record to 8-4 on Wednesday.

    The wet field didn’t distract the Lady Lancers from getting dirty. The Lancers dominated the field over the Lady Indians. USCL created many scoring opportunities, especially on corner kicks.

    Lancaster High School football coach Bennie McMurray rolled the dice and came up a Shaq Williams’ game-winning two-point conversion plunge in a 29-28 Region III-AAAA overtime win over Rock Hill on Friday night at Memorial Stadium.

    Williams, with LHS down 28-21 in the OT, hit senior running back Brandon Reese on a clutch third down, 13-yard touchdown pass to pull the Bruins close, 28-27.

    KERSHAW – Buford rallied to defeat county rival Andrew Jackson, 30-24 in overtime on AJ homecoming at Volunteer Stadium on Friday night.

    The Yellow Jackets overcame a 24-13 deficit in the fourth quarter to force the overtime.

    “Our guys gave super effort tonight,” Buford coach Mike Wells said. “We put ourselves in a hole with too many mistakes in the first half.
