INDIAN LAND – Opportunistic Marvin Ridge made the most of Indian Land mistakes on the way to a 36-0 win over the Warriors at the IL Reservation on Friday night.
BUFORD – Buford High School’s home football clash with visiting Lewisville proved to be a tale of two halves.

The LHS Lady Bruins tennis team improved to 4-0 with a 6-0 victory over the York Lady Cougars on Tuesday night in Lancaster.
The LHS team came out strong and didn’t drop a set to capture their third region win of the season.
Buford High School volleyball coach Robbie Loudermilk is hopeful the Lady Jackets can play on a consistent basis this season.

Lancaster Motor Speedway will host the NDRA Dirt Wars on Saturday night, Sept. 15.
The NDRA Dirt Wars will be for the NDRA GM Performance Late Models, with $3,000 going to the winner.
The Lancaster High Lady Bruins moved their volleyball mark to 4-2 with a 3-0 win over Fairfield Central High School of Winnsboro on Monday night in the LHS gym.
The Lady Bruins disposed of the Lady Griffins, 25-14, 25-20 and 25-13.
