The Lancaster Dixie Baseball AAA all-stars, on the heels of a thrilling win, are bound for the Dixie Youth district tournament.The AAA stars, who went 3-0 in the double-elimination sub-district tournament, captured the championship with a 5-4 win over Union National at the Chester County Complex.The AAA stars’ crown sends them to the Dixie Youth district tournament in Union where play opens Monday at 8 p.m.

A year ago, the Lancaster Debs didn’t even field an all-star softball team.This summer, the Lancaster Debs stars are the class of the S.C. The Lancaster Post 31 junior baseball team continued its solid late-season play sweeping a road twin bill from Clover Post 28 on Monday night.The P-31 juniors, 10-6, 9-3, topped Clover 2-1 and 9-1.The Lancaster juniors of coach Michael Anderson have won three straight and four of their last five games in League V play.In the opener at Clover on Monday, Adam Eubanks worked five innings for the win. He allowed no runs, four hits, two walks and hit a batter.Eubanks fanned two.

The Lancaster Dixie Baseball AAA all-stars (ages 9-10) came on strong to take a 14-3 win over Rock Hill in the sub-district tournament in Chester on Friday night.
