    The Lancaster Tigers capped their regular-season schedule, taking a 361-161 win over the Kershaw swim team on Thursday, June 28.

    Simon Wright and Lauren Spencer led the Tigers with four firsts each. Kershaw swimmers Luke Sowell and Connor Poston had four wins apiece.

    Two days prior to July Fourth, the Lancaster American Legion Post 31 senior baseball team produced their share of fireworks on the diamond.

    Post 31 rolled to an 11-1 win over Clover, posting the League V win in seven innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.

  • P-31 seeks strong finish

    After a tough loss, the Lancaster Post 31 senior baseball team faces a challenging week.
    P-31, which dropped a 12-10 road loss to Rock Hill after leading 7-0 at one point, will open the final week of regular-season play with three games.
    Rock Hill, 12-3, has completed its season.
    Lancaster, 9-3 in League V play, opens the week with a home game against Clover at 7 p.m. Monday. P-31 travels to Chester on Tuesday and then visits Fort Mill Post 43 on Thursday to cap regular-season play.
