    The Carolina Clash highlighted racing action at Lancaster Motor Speedway on Saturday night.Fans were on their feet with a host of legendary drivers in the field. Names like Dennis “Rambo” Franklin, Ricky Weeks, Jonathon Davenport and the young and talented Chris Ferguson were in the elite field.The 18-car lineup qualified on time. The night’s fastest time was Franklin’s 18.573. Before the race rolled, all the drivers lined up on the front stretch and were introduced.

    CHESTERFIELD – The Buford Yellow Jackets ventured to Chesterfield this week as they were the showcase opponent for the Rams’ homecoming. A year ago Buford was the victor in their match-up in the rain-plagued “mud bowl,” but that wasn’t the case this time around. Revenge-minded Chesterfield rammed the Yellow Jackets 39-0 Friday.The Rams wasted little time in this one with a quick drive that was capped off with a 12-yard touchdown reception by wideout Josh McCall from quarterback Akeem Johnson.

    INDIAN LAND – Andrew Jackson spoiled Indian Land’s homecoming, rolling up 414 yards of offense en route to 35-12 spanking of the Warriors.The Vols, 2-2, rode the strong arm of senior quarterback Daniel Pardue, who lit up the Warriors for 200 yards and three touchdown passes.
