    The Lancaster High School seniors captured the annual LHS powder puff football game held during homecoming week on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Memorial Stadium.

    LHS senior running back Kaela Robinson scored on a four-yard run at the end of the half for the game’s lone score in the 7-0 win over the juniors.

    A host of Lancaster Super Speedway drivers are slated to compete at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, N.C., this weekend, Oct. 17-18, when the King of the Carolinas races will be run.

    The King of the Carolinas is regarded as one of the Carolinas biggest races of the season.

    Five Lancaster County players earned honors at the weekly meeting of the Tri-County Football Coaches Association on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

    The county quintet saluted includes two Andrew Jackson players and a pair of Indian Land High players along with a Lancaster High School performer.
