    The father-son duo of Brandy and Andrew Baker ventured to Sumter Speedway in Sumter to compete in Saturday, Nov. 8 racing.

    As soon as the Bakers pulled into the gates at Sumter Speedway, the announcer said if you don’t know them now, you will know them when they leave.

    The Carolina Christian Academy men’s volleyball team made history this season as the Cougars fashioned a 14-0 record on the way to the state championship of the S.C. Association of Christian Schools, an association of over 70 schools.

    Trey Tarlton was the lone Lancaster Super Speedway driver to go across the South Carolina and North Carolina boarder on to Harris Speedway in North Carolina for the annual Monster Mash V8 Nationals over the weekend, Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

    Eastside foiled Lancaster High School's postseason volleyball hopes with a 3-0 win over the Lady Bruins at the LHS gym on Thursday, Oct. 30.

    Eastside prevailed 25-10, 25-18 and 25-22.

  • Pride blunts Jackets'...

     BUFORD – There may not have been anyone dressed in costume, but the high-scoring game between Carolina Pride and Buford still felt like a Halloween contest.

    It was a wacky game that saw the Pride fumble six times, losing three, give up 21 points in less than 3 minutes, and still come back, behind the rushing Raymer Addison and Eric Price, to win 41-35.
