  • Speedway’s annual Hall of Fame race set Saturday night

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway will host its annual Hall Of Fame Race on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the half-mile oval.

    The LSS 2013 Hall of Fame inductees are Wayne Webster, engine builder/team owner; Frank Thomas, track official/racer/team owner; Wayne Thrift, championship driver; and Cauthen Motors, longtime sponsor.

  • Speedway to host Red Rose Spectacular Saturday night

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway will be hosting the Red Rose Spectacular, with the Cauthen Motors Pure Street Division and Vintage Division highlighting the racing night Saturday, Sept. 22

    In the Cauthen Motors Pure Street Division, this is the race everybody at LSS has been waiting for this season.

    Steven “SteveO” Self captured the M&M Garage Muffler & Tire Extreme 4 special to highlight action at Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 14.

  • Extreme 4 special race highlights Speedway's card

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway will host the M&M Garage Muffler & Tire Extreme 4 $800-to-win special Saturday, Sept. 13.

    The Extreme 4 Division has been one of the most competitive divisions at LSS this season.

  • Hinson nabs exciting pure street win

     

    Steve Hinson captured an exciting win in the Cauthen Motors Pure Street main event to highlight action at Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 7.

    The front row included “Burn ‘Em Down” Steve Hinson and “The Iron Horse” Mike Harrington.

  • Hodges’ gamble pays off for street win

     

    Brent Hodges’ gamble paid off and he captured the 2013 Montgomery Towing Super Street Stock Shootout at Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 31.

    The race featured three segments, with Timbo Mangum taking the opening segment. Andrew Baker took the third.

  • LSS features Super Street special Saturday

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway caps its August schedule with the Montgomery Towing Super (Street) Stock Shootout on Saturday, Aug. 31.

    The Super Street Division, one of the most popular divisions at LSS, will be a challenge to see who can win this extended race format.

  • Franklin rolls to Clash checkers

     

    Dennis Franklin captured his fifth win in seven races with the Carolina Clash, making a significant statement in the Roush Yates Performance Products Countdown to the Cup Championship Series sponsored by JE Pistons.

    Franklin’s win came Saturday, Aug. 24 at Lancaster Super Speedway.

  • Tarlton wins in Crate Sportsman race

     

    Trey Tarlton took the Deal I Auto Sales Crate Sportsman Division race at Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 24.

    The Deal 1 Auto Sales Crate Sportsman race featured Jeffrey McGuirt and Jacob Catoe on the front row.

  • Clash draws elite field

     

    The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series is set to invade the famous half-mile oval of Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday night, Aug. 24.

    The race pays $4,000 to win and is round 1 of the Roush Yates Performance Products and JE Pistons Countdown To The Cup Championship Chase.
