• Hodges’ gamble pays off for street win


    Brent Hodges’ gamble paid off and he captured the 2013 Montgomery Towing Super Street Stock Shootout at Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 31.

    The race featured three segments, with Timbo Mangum taking the opening segment. Andrew Baker took the third.

  • Franklin rolls to Clash checkers


    Dennis Franklin captured his fifth win in seven races with the Carolina Clash, making a significant statement in the Roush Yates Performance Products Countdown to the Cup Championship Series sponsored by JE Pistons.

    Franklin’s win came Saturday, Aug. 24 at Lancaster Super Speedway.

    The Deal 1 Auto Sales Crate Sportsman race featured Jeffrey McGuirt and Jacob Catoe on the front row.

  • Clash draws elite field


    The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series is set to invade the famous half-mile oval of Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday night, Aug. 24.

    The race pays $4,000 to win and is round 1 of the Roush Yates Performance Products and JE Pistons Countdown To The Cup Championship Chase.

    Lancaster Super Speedway will host the M&M Garage Muffler and Tire Extreme 4 Showdown with $800 to win on the line.

    This division has been one of the most exciting divisions this season at the half-mile, with Mel Privette and David Laney leading the way with four checkers each.

  • Langley, Baker thrill full house in Pure Street action


    Two of Lancaster Super Speedway’s young stars Josh Langley and Andrew Baker thrilled the packed house Saturday, Aug. 3.

    The front row for the Cauthen Motors Pure Street main event was Josh Langley and “Burn’Em” Down Steve Hinson.

  • LSS hosts Southeastern Late Models


    Lancaster Super Speedway will feature one of the top Late Model touring series in the country as the Southeastern Late Model Series visits the half-mile dirt oval on Saturday, July 27.

    The Southeastern Late Model Series is based out of Georgia and is held for for Limited Late Model cars.
