The Lancaster Motor Speedway’s 57th opener featured over 90 cars and exciting racing for a packed house Saturday night.

The NDRA Crate Late Models drew plenty of attention as the track feature.

Rain washed out the opening week of racing at Lancaster Motor Speedway on Saturday.

This week the NDRA GM Performance late model race will be held at the half-mile oval.

Lancaster Motor Speedway will be hosting open practice for all divisions Saturday.

Gates open at noon, with practice from 2-6 p.m. Free concessions will be available at the track.

With the coming of the 2011 racing season at Lancaster Motor Speedway,  Michael Knight, The Lancaster News’ racing correspondent Michael Knight will be doing question and answer features with a host of Lancaster Motor Speedway drivers over the next few weeks.

The feature driver this week is Young Guns Division’s Dillon Crook.
