  • Super Late Models highlight state race

    The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series highlights the inaugural Palmetto State Championship at Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday night.
    The Super Late Model Series winner earns $5,000 with the checkers.
    The LSS racing card includes the Super Stock, SECA Crate Sportsman and Renegades paying $1,000 to win each division. The Extreme 4 Division pays $500 for the win.

  • Inaugural Palmetto State title race highlights LSS opener

    Lancaster Super Speedway hosts the inaugural Palmetto State Championship, headlining the night of racing will be the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series paying $5,000 to win Saturday night.
    Along with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, the support divisions running Saturday night include the Super Stock, SECA Crate Sportsman and Renegade paying $1,000 to win in each division.
    The Extreme 4 Division will pay $500 to win.

  • Speedway to host car show, practice, Mud Bog

    Lancaster Super Speedway will be in high gear for track activity with family fun Saturday.
    The day opens with the annual LSS car show presented by Swankyville, Carolina Legacy All-Star Cheering Leading and Faith Funderburke Realty.
    The car show starts at 10 a.m. and closes at 2 p.m.
    All race cars and mud bog trucks need to be entered by 11 a.m. and judging begins at 11:30.
    Division sponsors for the car show are the following:
    Kenaki Karate – Crate Sportsman
    High Rollers Tower – Renegade

  • Speedway’s car show, practice March 12

    Lancaster Super Speedway is gearing to open its 62nd season of racing as the LSS hosts its annual car show March 12.
    The event will also feature a LSS Mud Bog run and an open practice for Speedway drivers.
    All divisions will be featured at the car show.
    The car show is at 10 a.m., with the Mud Bog and then practice at the half-mile dirt oval.
    Racing fans will be able to get an up-close look at the cars which will compete each week at the track. Fans can also meet and talk racing with the drivers and their pit crews.

    LSS will host the annual car show, presented by Swankyville, Mud Bog and practice.
    The race car show has been a popular event for race track fans throughout the years because it presents fans, young and old, a chance to meet their favorite race car drivers and see all their new cars.
    This season, the race cars will be joined by the Mud Bog trucks and jeeps at practice.

  • Speedway slates annual car show March 12

    Lancaster Super Speedway will host its annual Car Show on March 12.
    New to the Lancaster Super Speedway site this year is the newly built Mud Bog track, which will be in operation after the Car Show.
    All divisions will be on hand for the car show and even the mud bog trucks will be there as well for a mud run.
    After the mud bog event is over, there will be practice on the race track for all race cars.
    The car show starts at 10 a.m., followed by the mud bog and then practice.

    Lancaster Super Speedway is located four miles north of Lancaster off U.S. 521.
    Turn right off U.S. 521 on Shiloh Unity Road. Follow Shiloh Unity Road a short distance to the track on the left.

  • LSS hosts Christmas Show Down Mud Bog on Saturday

    Lancaster Super Speedway, in the holiday spirit racing style, hosts the Christmas Show Down Mud Bog on Dec. 12 at 10:30 a.m.
    The event includes the ATVs, with a two-lap endurance race for the best time average for two laps.
    The payout for the ATVs is $100 for first place and $25 for second.
    The trucks/jeep event, in the 30-35 tire size class, has a $75 payout for first place and $25 for second.
    In the 35-40 tire size class, the top prize is $100 and $25 for second.

  • Mud Bog Show Down Dec. 12

    Lancaster Super Speedway is hosting the Christmas Show Down Mud Bog on Dec. 12.
    The Saturday event starts at 10:30 a.m. The divisions running include ATVs with a two-lap endurance race for the best time average for two laps. The payout for the ATVs is $100 for first place and $25 for second.
    In the truck/jeep event for the 30-35 tire size class, the payout is $75 for first place and $25 for second. In the 35-40 tire size class, first is $100 and $25 for second.
    In the 41-46 tire size class, the payout is $150 for first place and $25 for second.

  • LSS Mud Bog opening a success

    The opening of the Lancaster Super Speedway Mud Madness Mud Bog and two ATV courses Nov. 21 was a big success, said LSS owner Doug McManus.
