  • Lancaster Motor Speedway set for action

    Saturday night, July 14, should be an exciting night at Lancaster Motor Speedway with seven divisions competing in the Vintage Venegance part 2.
    During this special race, the No. 45 Purple Mustang of Marty Spittle will have to start in the rear of the field after winning three in a row. Spittle charged from the rear of the field Saturday night on his way to winning his third straight.

  • I-77 Speedway to host Carolina Clash SLM

    CHESTER – I-77 Speedway is set to host the Carolina Clash Super Late Model series Saturday, July 14.
    This will mark the series first visit to the 33-year-old speedway. The stars of the Carolina Clash will battle it out on the high banks of I-77 Speedway for the $4,000 top prize. With no other touring series in action on Saturday, a large number of drivers are expected. Luke Roffers, the current points leader for 2012 will be there, along with Dennis “Rambo” Franklin, Jeff Smith, Ricky Weeks, Johnny Pursley, Ross Bailes and $20,000 man Scott Autry.

  • Laney captures FWD/UCAR main event win

    There was plenty of racing action Saturday night at Lancaster Motor Speedway.
    David “Porkchop” Motes and Joseph Laney were in the front row for the FWD/UCAR main event. When the green flag dropped, Motes, Joseph Laney, David Laney and Mel Privette all battled for the lead entering turn one.
    Joseph Laney led Motes, David Laney and Mel Privette exiting turn two.

  • Track car show, opener March 14

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway drivers and staff members are looking at a busy, but fun day when LSS will host its 15th annual car show Saturday, March 14.

    The car show, presented by Swankyville, is noon to 4 p.m. in the track’s grandstand parking lot.

  • USCS Outlaw Thunder Sprint Cars series at Speedway April 11

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway, as part of its 61st season of racing, will host the USCS Outlaw Thunder Sprint Car Series on April 11.

    A year ago, the 2014 racing season saw a first-time winner in the USCS Sprint Car Series as Lance Moss posted his first career USCS Sprint Car Series win.

  • Speedway car show, opener March 14

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway will open the 2015 season Saturday, March 14 with an action-packed event.

    The track’s 2015 car show will be held at Lancaster Super Speedway in the Grandstands parking lot.

     The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series is set to invade Lancaster Super Speedway twice during the 2015 racing season.

    The Carolina Clash is very popular when it comes to Lancaster Super Speedway because of the speeds the Super Late Models reach on the big half-mile track.

  • Hanging Rock Kartway has track fireworks

     

    Hanging Rock Kartway provided some fireworks Saturday night, Dec. 27  with real track fireworks between drivers.

    Hanging Rock Kartway also produce some amazing racing as well.

  • LSS sets Crook Memorial race

     

    The 2015 racing season is still months away for Lancaster Super Speedway but the LSS staff has been busy this offseason scheduling races for the new racing season.

  • Hanging Rock Kartway resets race Saturday

     

    Following a rainout on Saturday, Dec. 6, Hanging Rock Kartway roars back into action this Saturday night, Dec. 13.

    Hanging Rock Kartway, located in Kershaw at 1082 Horton Rollins Road, will be hosting the King of The Rock/FH Mania.
