  • Lancaster Motor Speedway set for action

    Saturday night, July 14, should be an exciting night at Lancaster Motor Speedway with seven divisions competing in the Vintage Venegance part 2.
    During this special race, the No. 45 Purple Mustang of Marty Spittle will have to start in the rear of the field after winning three in a row. Spittle charged from the rear of the field Saturday night on his way to winning his third straight.

  • I-77 Speedway to host Carolina Clash SLM

    CHESTER – I-77 Speedway is set to host the Carolina Clash Super Late Model series Saturday, July 14.
    This will mark the series first visit to the 33-year-old speedway. The stars of the Carolina Clash will battle it out on the high banks of I-77 Speedway for the $4,000 top prize. With no other touring series in action on Saturday, a large number of drivers are expected. Luke Roffers, the current points leader for 2012 will be there, along with Dennis “Rambo” Franklin, Jeff Smith, Ricky Weeks, Johnny Pursley, Ross Bailes and $20,000 man Scott Autry.

  • Laney captures FWD/UCAR main event win

    There was plenty of racing action Saturday night at Lancaster Motor Speedway.
    David “Porkchop” Motes and Joseph Laney were in the front row for the FWD/UCAR main event. When the green flag dropped, Motes, Joseph Laney, David Laney and Mel Privette all battled for the lead entering turn one.
    Joseph Laney led Motes, David Laney and Mel Privette exiting turn two.

  • LSS rained out, hosts six divisions Saturday

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway, following another rainout Saturday, April 19, roars back into action with six action-packed divisions Saturday night.

    The upcoming schedule Saturday has the SECA Crate Late Models, Pro Street, Crate Sportsman, Super Street, U.S. Bonding Vintage and M&M Garage Extreme 4.

  • LSS hosts 7 divisions Saturday

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway will host seven divisions of dirt track racing Saturday, April 19 at the half-mile oval.

    The action will be headlined by the Late Model Division, Limited Late Models and 525s.

  • Aldridge returns for LSS win

     

    Veteran driver Robbie Aldridge made a triuphant return to victory lane to capture the Pro Street main event at Lancaster Super Speedway on Saturday, April 12.

    The Pro Street front row featured Andrew Baker and Andy Hodges.

  • USCS vs. URC North-South Shootout 'Spring Speed Xplosion' at LSS Saturday

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway will host the USCS vs URC North-South Shootout “Spring Speed Xplosion” on Saturday, April 12.

    The race features some of the area’s best Sprint Car drivers along with some of the best Sprint Car drivers from the North.

  • Late Models highlight LSS opener

     

    Lancaster Super Speedway, after a rainout last week, is set for its 60th season’s opener on Saturday, April 5.

    With clear weather forecasted for Saturday, LSS officials have added the SECA Crate Late Model Division to the opening card.

    Lancaster Super Speedway will be having its opening night of racing after last Saturday, March 29 was rained out at the half-mile dirt track.

    With favorable weather expected  Saturday, Lancaster Super Speedway officials have decided to add the SECA Crate Late Model Division to the card.

  • Clash highlights track opener Saturday night

     

    The 2014 Lancaster Super Speedway season cranks up with a major show Saturday, March 29 at the half-mile dirt oval.

    LSS, opening its 60th season, will feature the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series which is making its 12th visit to the “Fastest Half mile in the Southeast.”
