Bruins roar to region golf title

The Lancaster High School golf team was way on top of its game taking the Region III-AAAA championship for the fourth straight season Wednesday afternoon at the Lancaster Golf Club.

The Bruins, with an even-par 288 for 18 holes, were led by freshman Trey Crenshaw who shot a sizzling two-under 70.

Crenshaw, one of five Bruins to reap all-region honors, earned the region medalist for the second time in three seasons.

Lancaster, in dominating fashion, captured the region crown by 54 shots.

York was the region runner-up with a 342 team total.
