    The Eagles, 23-5, scored on a walk-off suicide squeeze bunt to notch the 6-5 home win over Indian Land.

    INDIAN LAND – The Indian Land Warriors rebounded with resound to stay alive in the Class AA Upper State championship baseball series on Monday, May 12.

    The host Warriors, 17-8, blanked Chesnee, 7-0 in a Class AA Upstate championship second round elimination game win to stay alive in the playoffs.

    The Lancaster Lady Bruins’ soccer team made one goal stand in a history-making win over Riverside High School of Greer in the opening round of the Class AAAA Upper State soccer playoffs on Monday, May 12 at Memorial Stadium.

  • Bruins fall in playoffs after solid tennis season

    The 2014 version of the Bruins’ tennis team had a successful year despite battling injuries and inconsistency throughout the season. 

    The squad finished with a region record of 8-6 which earned them a fourth-place position and a No. 4 seed in the playoffs.

    Lancaster was matched with tennis powerhouse Spartanburg for the first round and fell short, 6-0.

    PAGELAND – Indian Land faces a familiar postseason baseball scenario for the Class AA Upper State championship series.

    The 16-8 Warriors, who battled back through the losers’ bracket to win the District III title with a sweep of region and county rival Buford on Wednesday, May 7, will have to do the same.

    The Lancaster High School girls soccer team has produced a landmark season on the pitch and the Lady Bruins hope to add more milestones as the state playoffs open this week.

    The Lady Bruins, 15-6, 9-5 in region play, are ranked No. 15 in the latest Class AAAA girls state soccer poll.

  • Warriors runners-up in region track meet


    The IL boys, with 127 points, finished second in the Region IV-AA meet at Warrior Stadium on Monday, May 5.

    The Warriors were led by John Gregory, first in the 400 meters with 1:00.20, and Manny Delgado, first in the 110 hurdles in 16.14.
