A pivotal bang-bang sequence just before the half shot a big hole in Lancaster’s hopes for a happy homecoming Friday night at Memorial Stadium.
Lancaster, on the way to a 35-24 loss to the surging York Cougars, trailed all night, but just before half, in lightning-bolt fashion, the Bruins ignited for 10 points to seemingly get back in the game.
Lancaster, down 21-7 at one point, was able to pull close as Jacob Cato drilled a 29-yard field goal with 35.6 seconds to play in the half.
