    KERSHAW – Quadarius Fair, Bre Wright and Haley Faulkenberry earned a major part of the orange spotlight at the Andrew Jackson High School fall and winter sports awards night Saturday, March 16 in the AJ High cafeteria.

    The Lancaster Bruins posted their third straight win, rolling to a 12-3 win over county rival Andrew Jackson at LHS’s Doomsday Corner on Wednesday, March 20.

  • AJ Vols edge LHS in golf win

    The Andrew Jackson High School golfers improved to 6-1 on the season, taking a 170-171 win over Lancaster at the Lancaster Golf Club on Monday, March 18.

    AJ, which had recently won its region preseason tournament, was led by Logan Sowell, who posted a 41 over nine holes.

  • Bruins claw FM Jackets

    Lancaster High senior pitcher Jordan Brock hurled a no-hitter to spark the host Bruins to a 6-0 Region III-AAAA win over Fort Mill at Doomsday Corner on Friday, March 15.

    Brock, who was mobbed by his LHS teammates after posting the gem, notched 11 strikeouts and no walks. He did hit two batters.

  • Lady Vols edge LHS girls

    The No. 2 ranked Andrew Jackson Lady Vols posted a 1-0 win over the rival Lancaster Lady Bruins at the LHS field on Monday afternoon.

    Angela Sims’ RBI sacrifice fly scored Haley Faulkenberry in the sixth inning to lift the Lady Vols to the shutout win.
