    KERSHAW – For the second consecutive week, Andrew Jackson junior wide receiver Quadarius Fair caught three touchdown passes in leading the Volunteers in a 42-6 rout of cross-town Class AA rival North Central.
    Versatile AJ senior athlete Gavin Clyburn rushed for 81 yards on just seven carries, including touchdown runs of 17 and 20 yards, to aid the AJ win. Clyburn also threw a 14-yard TD pass to Fair.

  • Carolina Wave to start at USCL on Oct. 8

    The Carolina Wave Aquatic Club at USC Lancaster, a competitive swim program for grades 6-12, will begin practice Monday, Oct. 8 at the Gregory Health and Wellness Center.

    Swimmers must be able to swim strokes competitively.

    The program's overall goal is to offer quality technique instruction to achieve excellence in the sport of competitive swimming.

    Practice will be held Monday-Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Gregory Center pool.

  • LHS netters drop first match

    The LHS Lady Bruins tennis team dropped their first  match of the season to region leader Clover 5-2 on Wednesday night in Lancaster.

    The lone wins for the Lady Bruins came from the top of the ladder with Lyndsey Hegler at No. 1 singles and Sara Hicks at No. 2 singles.

  • LHS swimmers stay unbeaten with pool sweep at Rock Hill

    The Lancaster Bruins swim team improved to 6-0 with a region sweep of South Pointe and Nation Ford at the Rock Hill Aquatics Center on Sept. 13.

    The 6-0 Bruins were led by Jory Pettit who had two firsts. Luke Sowell, Hannah Jacobs, Jonah Faile, Lauren Spencer each had a win.

    The Lancaster Lady Bruins tennis team remained undefeated with their fourth region win, a hard-fought 4-2 home win over Fort Mill on Thursday.

    BUFORD – Buford High School’s home football clash with visiting Lewisville proved to be a tale of two halves.

    Unfortunately for the Jackets, the story didn’t have a happy ending, with Lewisville taking a hard-fought 21-14 win.

    BLYTHEWOOD – A return to Blythewood wasn’t the remedy the Lancaster Bruins were looking for in a 21-12 loss to the host Bengals on Friday night.
