    The Bruins struck with the big play to post a 41-6 win over county rival Andrew Jackson High School at Memorial Stadium.

    The Lancaster Junior Bruins were a real bear in the third annual Bear Hug Brawl at Buford High School’s Jackets Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 23.

    The Junior Bruins rolled to a pair of solid wins in the annual junior varsity football kickoff event which is held in memory of Buford Junior Jackets football player Seth Muennich.

    Host Lancaster posted a pair of wins to highlight play in the 11th annual  Founders Kickoff Classic at Memorial Stadium on Friday, Aug. 22.

    Host Lancaster posted a pair of wins to highlight play in the 11th annual  Founders Kickoff Classic at Memorial Stadium on Friday, Aug. 22.

    The Bruins, buoyed by the big play, rolled to a 35-0 win over Buford, and then rallied to notch a 7-3 comeback victory over Indian Land.

    Bruins players Nehemiah McGriff, Quasheon McCarter and JiQuarious Stevenson will attend the Clemson basketball Elite Camp at Clemson University on Saturday, Aug. 23.

    The final tune-up for the 2014 Lancaster County high school football season is tonight as Lancaster Memorial Stadium hosts the Founders Kickoff Classic.

    All four county teams will be involved as four different games will be on tap in the closing scrimmages before the season openers next week.
