Tamara Jacobus, who molded Indian Land High School’s volleyball and girls basketball teams into state powers, is leaving the Lancaster County Class AA school.
Jacobus, a McBee native, is moving to Class AAAA Clover High School, where she will coach the Lady Blue Eagles’ volleyball team and teach math in the school’s freshman academy. Her assistant coach will be former Indian Land volleyball and basketball star Jean Marie Harris.
Jacobus said the move came after making “one of the toughest decisions” in her life.
