The Westwood Red Hawks soared twice in a Region III-AAAA hoops visit to the Lancaster High School gym on Friday night.
WHS rolled to a pair of wins over the Bruins, who were in the region home opener.
The Red Hawks prevailed, taking a 77-36 win in the girls game and a 49-34 victory in boys contest.
Lancaster, in the nightcap, stayed within striking distance, but couldn’t solve Westwood in the 15-point loss.
The Bruins, 6-6, 0-3, closed the gap to 36-29 with 4:05 to play, but the Red Hawks finished on a 13-5 charge to cap the win.
