A trio of county boys basketball teams open a trek tonight which they hope will lead to the state title game in Columbia next month.

Lancaster High School assistant basketball coach Jerron Cauthen, reflecting on the Bruins’ narrow 56-54 Region III-AAAA win over Northwestern, called it “a lesson learned.”
