    The Carolina Christian Academy men’s volleyball team made history this season as the Cougars fashioned a 14-0 record on the way to the state championship of the S.C. Association of Christian Schools, an association of over 70 schools.

    RICHBURG – Five Lancaster County prep football players were honored for their play in week 10 of the 2014 season at the weekly meeting of the Tri-County Football Coaches Association on Monday, Nov. 3.

    The “second season” – the S.C. High school playoffs – opens with two county teams set to battle in the postseason on Friday, Nov. 7.

    Lancaster will be at home to face Chapman in the opening round of the Class AAA Upper State playoffs.

  • LHS shines in region CC meet

     

    The Lancaster High School cross country team competed in the Region III-AAA meet at South Pointe High School on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

    LHS coach Josh Pauling said he was pleased LHS  had 10 runners to post  new season bests.

  • Lady Bruins advance in volleyball playoffs

     

    The Lancaster High School Lady Bruins earned a second-round playoff win over Richland Northeast with a 3-1 victory on Tuesday, Oct. 28 in the LHS gym.

    LHS, 15-7, took an early 2-0 lead, but RNE rebounded 25-14 to make it, 2-1.

    Lancaster, Indian Land and Buford will be seeking wins to boost their postseason hopes on Halloween night – Friday evening.
    Andrew Jackson is playing for pride as the Volunteers host county foe Indian Land.
    Lancaster and Indian Land are in similar situations – win and get in, and lose and shoot for a boost from outside help.

  • Lady Vols rally, advance in playoffs

    The Andrew Jackson High Lady Volunteers came on strong to post a 3-1 win over host Abbeville to advance to a Class AA Upper State third-round match today.
    The Lady Vols, after falling in the opening game, 25-23, reeled off three straight wins to stay alive in the Class AA Upstate postseason tournament.
    AJ downed Abbeville, 27-25, 25-22 and 25-20 to continue its postseason hopes.
