  • AA Nationals capture state crown
      The Lancaster Dixie Baseball AA National all-stars completed an unbeaten run (5-0) in capturing the machine pitch state championship on Tuesday, July 1 at Greenwood Park in Florence. The Lancaster AA NL stars rolled to a 14-1 win over Aynor to wrap up the state crown, the first for the Lancaster Dixie Baseball program.

      The Wounded Warrior Team took top honors in the Warrior Salute Golf Tournament at the Lancaster Golf Club on Saturday, June, 28.
  • Angels National all-stars fall short in district play
      Host Chester played the spoiler as it defeated the Lancaster County Parks and Recreation Dixie Softball Angels National League all-star softball team Thursday, June 26. The National Angels, ages ages 9-10, were eliminated from the Dixie Softball District 2 tournament with the loss to Chester.
  • P-31 seniors seeking to rebound
      The Lancaster Post 31 senior squad will seek to get back on track in League V American Legion baseball play with a home twin bill with Clover Post 38 on Monday, June 30. Lancaster, 3-5 in League V play, had a tough week as it dropped three games.
  • Evans nets second win in LJGA play
      Baylee Evans posted her second straight win in the girls 14-18 age division of the Lancaster chapter of the S.C. Junior Golf Association tournament Monday, June 23. The chapter played a split tournament with the age 13-over golfers competing at the Edgewater Golf Club and the 12-under golfers playing at the Lancaster Golf Club.

      GAFFNEY – The Lancaster Dixie Baseball Ozone National League all-stars, ages 11-12, did it the hard way, but accomplished the diamond mission.

      The Lancaster County all-star softball teams had a tough night in the Dixie Softball District 2 tournament in Chester on Wednesday, June 25. Two Lancaster teams were eliminated with losses.

      The Lancaster Post 31 American Legion junior baseball team fell short in hopes of a second straight major comeback win on Wednesday, June 25 at the Lancaster High School baseball field.
  • Unbeaten Ozone NL shoots for district title
      The Lancaster Dixie Baseball Ozone National League all-stars earned a bid to the District 2 championship round with an 11-1 win over Lancaster American in Gaffney on Wednesday, June 25.
  • LCST Sharks down Camden in road win
      The Lancaster County Sharks swim team stayed unbeaten on the recreation swim season at 5-0, taking a 368-153 win over host Camden on Saturday, June 21. The Lancaster County swimmers were led by Tamra Tipton, Charlee Brooke Henry and Jonathan Wade with four firsts each.
